You Belong Here
We are always happy to see new faces at St. John's!
Our main Sunday service is at 10:30 and includes music and communion. It is about an hour. It includes a program for children and youth from the beginning of September until the end of June. The 10:30 service is live-streamed and posted on YouTube. The video camera is normally filming the front of the church rather than the people in the pews. The service is held in the sanctuary during most of the year, and is in the parish hall during the summer.
We also have a smaller service at 8:00 a.m. without music, which uses the older language of the Book of Common Prayer, which is held from the beginning of September until the end of May. It is about 45 minutes.
All are welcome at St. John's: we really do mean all, no matter who you are, or what you do, or don't believe.

Our 10:30 a.m. service is shared on YouTube so that those who are unable to join us in person can still worship with our parish community. From September through June, the service is live-streamed. During July and August, the service is recorded and made available on YouTube shortly after it concludes. You can watch on YouTube or right here on our website.

Lucia discovered a love for God and the church when she was raised as a Presbyterian in Pittsburgh, and she felt a call to ordained ministry from her teenage years. She has also had a lifelong love of literature, and studied English at Davidson College (with a junior year abroad at Oxford) before going to Princeton Theological Seminary. She continued to pursue both interests, as her graduate education included an M.A.R. in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School, an M.A. in English from Middlebury College, and an M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary.
